Stag Parties

Stag parties are usually quite predictable- it’s a group of men getting together to drink, go to clubs, drink some more, and embarrass the groom. A wild stag do can involve a lot of adult activity, and even put the groom’s loyalty to his bride to the test- but it doesn’t have to be that way. You can choose a stag party that’s fun while ensuring that you won’t do anything you will regret later.

Stag parties can be anything from a quick, one night party, or ski weekends that take up several days. Of course, any good stag do will include alcohol and a lot of delicious food- because drinking on an empty stomach is not advisable. If the party will be a smaller affair, have a friend who’s handy in the kitchen prepare the meal. If the party is for more than ten or twenty people, hire a caterer.

Instead of the party planning being the responsibility of the best man, the groom should be involved as well. That way, he can help make his stag do a success, by giving suggestions on activities. If he has a hand in the party preparations, there won’t be any embarrassing surprises.
