Christmas In Paris

At this time of year, lots of us are planning city breaks to do a spot of Christmas shopping or the complete opposite, to get away from Christmas shoppers in our own cities! A particularly popular city this year is Paris, France. Obviously it is well known as one of the most romantic cities in the world, but it is also one of the major fashion capitals of Europe - which means a LOT of shops to browse around and get that Christmas shopping done with! Of course, shopping comes second in Paris, you must first find somewhere to stay while you’re there. The best option appears to be self catering in a private apartment. Self catering holidays are extremely popular in city centres as hotel prices are often seriously overpriced, especially in Paris. You can often hire a private apartment in the city centre for a few nights at a much lower cost than a hotel suite of the same quality. The only difference is you will end up paying for your own food and cleaning your own room - but the costs involved in that are negligible. Wherever you end up staying, be it in the capital of Paris or on one of the many French beaches, one thing is for sure, your France holiday will certainly be one to remember!
